Day 1:
After an early breakfast a driver will pick you up from your beach hotel and bring you to Zanzibar airport for a short domestic flight to Arusha city. Your Safari guide for the next days will welcome you and drive you to Tarangire National Park for your first Game Drive.
This national park is dominated by the Tarangire river, a source of life for many animals during the dry season. The park boasts a rich and diverse environment that attracts an wildlife all year-round. The park is famous for its giant Baobab Trees, that even dwarf the many elephants in this area.
Day 2:
This itnerary offers you an extra free day for optional activies or just a day of leisure and free time to enjoy the unique surroings of the Great Rift Valley area.

Day 3:
Today you will pay a visit to the famous Ngorongoro Conservation Area, a UNESCO World Hertiage Site, where you can enjoy a game drive in Ngorongoro crater. This caldera is the main feature of the Ngorongoro area. The crater, which formed when a large volcano exploded and collapsed on itself two to three million years ago, is 600+ metres deep and its floor covers 260 km². The original volcano range is estimated to be almost 6000 metres high.
The region has been home to various indigenous tribes, including the Maasai people, who continue to live and graze their cattle within the area, a noteable difference to the traditional national parks where human activity is limited to tourism. Their coexistence with wildlife and preservation of their traditional way of life adds a cultural dimension to the conservation area, making it an enriching experience for travelers seeking a deeper understanding of the region’s heritage.
Day 4:
The last day of this Safari package brings is dedicated to Lake Manyara National Park, famous for its tree-climbing lions, a very rare behavior. These predators are known to relax in the branches of tall trees, as their status in the animal kingdom befits them.
Despite its relatively small size compared to other Tanzanian national parks, Lake Manyara is incredibly diverse in terms of flora and fauna. The park encompasses different ecosystems, including the alkaline lake itself, floodplains, tropical forests as well as acacia woodlands. These diverse vegetation zones provide habitats for many different animal species.
After leaving the park you will be driven back to Arusha city airport, for the domestic return flight to Zanzibar.
